Dang who ever heard of rules in a Sandbox.  Oh well, I guess to keep the dirt out of one another's eyes, we need just a couple of rules.

1.  No stories that involve minors or children as a means to sexually arouse the reader.  It may be a side element of the story but must not be one of the main topics of the story.

2.  No bestiality.

OK, those are the rules. 

 

Now for the fun part:  Getting Ready to Submit (a story that is):

1.   Use spell check or have a dictionary handy.  (PS - this is one of those do as I say rules, not as I do).

2.  Please have a beta read your story before submitting it.  A second pair of eyes can help find errors and inconsistencies that you may have overlooked.  Of course, having a beta is your option but we will post it just as you have written it, right or wrong.  We are not betas.

3.  Need some grammar help or possibly other writing tools? Check out The Writer's Resource page on the SandBox.  Writers

4.  Content warning labels are highly recommended to help the reader make an informed decision if it is a story they want to read. (I.E. heavy sex, angst)  We don't care about disclaimers per se.  After all, this is an adult site as stated on the home page.

5.  If you use characters "borrowed" from anywhere, please note that you have temporarily acquired the character for the sake of fiction, so give credit to the original owners.

How To Submit:  Get down on your knees---- strike that, it pertains to something else.

1.  Send your submission as a WORD or RTF attachment in an email to the webmistress@thesandbox101.com .

4.  The writer owns the story and they can request that it be pulled anytime they want.
