Wizzy’s Wackyweed.....

HELL ON WHEELS IS BACK......

Ok Kiddies....what is it with the coffee shops these days? After moving across this hippie freak town (an I use that term with kindness here!) to the up scaled side of town to find 9, count them 9 coffee shops, within a 5 block span. Now I’m not much on coffee when it is packed in a tiny ass cup an then steamed an frothed and pumped with hot air an Gods know what else is done to it for it is shoved at you in a paper cup so freaking hot it burns your hands!

Opps side tracked there....Anywhoo...I can’t even go into my favorite book store without havin to walk through the stench of stale coffee beans, not to mention Safeway where I buy my groceries. I mean do we really need so many? In fact on the other side of town they are boycotting a Starbucks. If I recall right they torched the place with a few bottles of gasoline. Yeahup good ole fashioned Molotov cocktail’s, several broken windows by flying rocks, as well as protesters who would sit outside at the tables an not let other patrons sit an relax.

Now yes this is VERY extreme measures but come on why so many coffee shops? My answer to this would be, don’t stop an buy coffee from a big conglomerate! If I had to choose between that “other” coffee shop, you know the one where they wear tacky green aprons to Seattle
’s Best, I’d have to say “Seattle’s Best” coffee shops win hands down as they at least don’t leave you with a bitter bean face! All puckered up like a prune to long in the sun!

Naw give me a bottle of sweet, sweet wine any day! Give me something sweet and sassy, not something that gets bitter when brewing! NO bitter bean face here, thank you very much! I have been known to enjoy a dessert wine after a grilled steak and all the fixings to go with it. They are my favorite one to sip after a good din-din!

Speaking of wine has anyone seen the to jump to our specialty we have added? whats2.gif - 10.79 KI am proud to get to share with you some really good wine made by some really wonderful women! In August of 2001, they opened their not so ordinary winery in a not so ordinary location. An industrial district which is right close to where I work! So instead of slugging down paint thinner I can slip off to have me a fine glass of sweet wine at lunch time!

The wine Goddess and the wine Maven want to let you know they will have an online shopping cart soon available for your convenience!

Sorry this one is so short kids but this ole hag needs some sleep but I will have the first “Bard Interview” soon! So in the mean time please go check out Hip Chicks Do Wine at...http://www.hipchicksdowine.com       and let them know you visited and would like to order 12 bottle’s of some the best wine I have ever had!

Later taters, Wizzy
