I asked tap, the wizard to ramble for us this week.....heheheee. Thank you again for takin’ the time to share this with us, tap, my dear!

My good friend Wizzy has asked me to write this week’s ramble.  She said I could write anything I wanted to.........hehehe this should teach her a lesson. 

Now I set up a segment on the Forum called “Ranting’s and Orgasms from the Wizard's Cave” which I thought was a rather nifty title.  Folks could discuss anything they wanted to from things that pissed you off to things that made you smile.  So in a way I will carry that on. 

First let’s discuss orgasms, not the ones you're thinking about....lol. 

Writing is one of my favourite orgasms.  To be able to sit here on my computer and let the words from my mind form into a story is truly a remarkable gift.  Now I most certainly will never be a great author, but being the story teller I am, in my wacky and sometimes scary brain, has been a lot of fun.  It also saved my sanity, or what I have left of it. 

One of the first stories that I wrote was called "Going Home."  I didn't like the way Xena: The Warrior Princess ended, so I wrote my own ending and I felt better.  I like happy endings.  Life can be filled with so many unhappy endings that someone has to change the story and I decided, "well Hell, why not me." 

When Kevin Smith died, I wrote "Ares Last Sword."  Another fitting way for the God of War to pass on his legacy, through two children, from Xena and Gabrielle. 

Next came "Immortality and Greek Wizardry."  A short story with me as the Wizard, and it just kept growing until I finally ended it in chapter 7.  Now the significance about that story was it gave me a chance to escape all the problems that I was having at work.  The dark Wizard Slokan, was in actually the one supervisor who just hated my guts and was harassing me every day.  Long story from 2001 and I'm glad that I left after 22 years of working at the race track.  Sally, my honey, still works there and the horror stories to this day still continue.  Although that supervisor was fired 3 months later, there is always another asshole to carry on.  lol.  I think I've slipped into "rantings." 

The wizard character that I have portrayed for these past 5 years has been an odd situation when meeting other people.  Do you know that no one knows who Pat Winterburn is?  But mention tap, the wizard when I meet with other "pups" or CDN Uber Addicts, and I find myself full of other female bodies with their arms wrapped around me in a hug, or strangely enough, back away in fear.  The later still makes me snicker.  Can't wait for the 10th anniversary of Xena in Burbank.  I'm going this year and it should be interesting when some of these folks I've chatted with over the years, finally get to meet the wizard.  Let's just hope they don't expect me to throw fireballs around.  After 9/11, I could end up in jail and then Wizzy and Shady will have to bail my sorry ass out.  lol. 

The rest of my writings can be found on the Sandbox 101, and I am very thankful for Debbie Dee, who invited me on this website and also for her help in finishing "Elana's Legacy."  I hope sharing my brain with her, didn't cause any permanent damage to hers.   <G> 

As for rantings, I only have one.  "Come on girls you all have naughty minds and T., Fantasy Bard and myself have written a lot of pwp’s on Fridays.  Let's get writing and share those dirty little thoughts with the rest of us."   

I have spoken many times with our Web Mistress and one thing we both agree on is:  Write what you know about.  It's that simple.   So in keeping with that thought, the next pwp you see from me on a Friday is entitled:  "The Web Mistress."

Ya know Tap says “write what ya know”....dare I mention the fact she writes some AWFULLY HOT Pwp’s? So what’s that say bout me dear, dear friend the fire spewing Wizard? Thanks Tap for sharing with us your rantings. I will admit I was very wary of what this writer might send me. Ya never know what ya might get from this woman. But like so many I know on our list, it is a great honour or is that horror to know this woman and her wicked sense of humour as well! Don’t forget to send Tap HATE MAIL, she loves them! Hehehehee!
