Wizzy

Wizzy’s Wackyweed...Welcome to hell on wheels...

Ok kids have we got some fun stuff comin’ up on the wacky weed ramble for the next few weeks.... We all had a chat one night not to long ago and it was asked for us to do more writers interviews.... We have a saying at the SandBox Yahoo Group list...BECARFUL OF WHAT YOU WISH FOR!!!!!” So with that in mind I have been pickin’ a few at a time to answer some questions for us. I sent out the first batch this last week and picked on poor ole Tap to answer her first.

I left it up to the writer if they wanted to answer them all of just pick a few; most of the ones I have gotten back have answered them all. I think this will give you an insight as to what our writers do for fun, techniques an such when writing. I left the names of those who helped compile the questions it is out own writers and a few fans who made these up...I take no blame for the one question that keeps popping up! Heheheheee,

So first up is Tap the Wizard, AKA Pat Winterburn...........

 www.thesandbox101.com/winterburn_links.htm

Wizz an Nancy.......

1.) How long have you been writing creative fiction?

Since 2001.  I didn't like the way Xena ended so I rewrote one that I did like.

2.) What is your favourite fan fiction story you have written and why?

It would have to be The Amanda Ellis Series.  Amanda and the gang are just so easy to write.

They are wonderful friends, not only to each other, but me as well.  <g>

3.) What got you interested in Xena and writing fan fiction?

Well watching the show was a start, and then I discovered fan fiction on the internet.

After reading a lot of stories on the web, I thought "Hey I could write this as well."

3.) How has Xena changed your life?

Xena means everything to me.  She gave me back a sense of pride and back bone, that I had lost somewhere along life's obstacle course.

4.) What colors ur tooth brush?

Blue and white

5.) If you could be any super hero who would you be and why?

Well, I am my own super hero....tap, the wizard.

And she can do some pretty amazing things in my fantasy world

6.) Do you wipe with your right hand or left or do you use toilet paper

Toilet paper, but am left handed

7.) Why and when did you start writing?

See answer #1

8.) What’s ur bra size?

38B

9.) How do you have time to write so many stories at once?

My house is a mess.  lol

10.) How do you get your inspiration?

That can come from anywhere.  A TV show, a song, or just something will hit me and I have to write about it.

11.) What kind of underoo's do you wear?

Hanes for Her......white....ok, I'm boring

12.) How long have you been writing?

Since 2001

13.) What story/series are you most proud of?

The Detective Amanda Ellis Series

14.) Do you get hate mail and how do you handle those?

I've been very lucky and have never received much hate mail.  Mostly just suggestions or ideas from readers about my characters

15.) How about do you get any HATE mail from Wizzy?

If I get one more penis enlargement e-mail Wizzy.....................

16.) What's the best piece of advice you got when you were starting out as a writer?

Go with what you know about, or feel strongly about.  It's your story and your characters.

17.) How do you lay out your stories?

I just start typing the thoughts that are running around in my head and just go from there.  I don't have any specific layout at all.

18.) Do you have an ending before you start writing, or does it reveal itself to you as you write?

Sometimes I have an ending and sometimes a whole incredible idea will whack me across the head and I'll just run with it.

19.) How do you get beyond just an idea?

I let my imaginations soar and start from there.

20.) How does an idea become a story?

Mostly with characters running around my brain, talking to me.  LoL It’s scary in there.

21.) What suggestions do you have for creating self-discipline at writing?

Glue your ass to your computer chair, have coffee around, tell everyone to piss off and just write.

22.) Which story/series has gotten the most response from fans?

Again it would have to The Detective Amanda Ellis series

23.) Do you like to write X&G stories or uber/original stories better?

I like Xena and Gabrielle stories, but find Uber easier.

24.) Do you envision a story before you write it, or does the story just un-fold as you write it?

I envision the story at first, but sometimes it does unfold as I go along.  I never argue with the muse.

25.) When you've finished with the story/book do you miss those characters that you've written about?

Oh yes.....I'm so glad I did the Amanda specials.  I love those 4 women.

26.) Do you or do you not wear underwear? If so what kind?

Jesus Wizzy!  Hanes for Her.

27.) If you could have dinner with anyone who would it be and why?

If I could have dinner with anyone, it would be with God, and he better have some pretty damn good answers for my questions.

Who is your favourite Xmen???

don't have one

Who is your favourite super hero of all times?...IE...batman, superman, wonder woman??

Xena

Years from now, how would you want to be remembered?

I came, I saw, and like everyone else......I left.

What is your pet peeve?

Mean people....they should be shipped off to a far away island and then blow it up.

What advice can you give to future writers?

Stick with it, if only for fun.  Doesn't matter what other people think, explore your creativity.

What has the show Xena meant to you?

Xena has been kind to me.  She's introduced me to a wonder world of fan fiction and new friends.  People I've never met, I consider dear friends and am happy and blessed to have talked with them.

What are your dreams? Hopes? Wishes?

You know in this world of yours, world peace wouldn't be a bad idea. But for me personally, my health for myself and my family means a lot. I just want them to be happy and well as myself.

What is a necessity for every writer in your opinion?

Imagination and the freedom to think and feel with your heart as well as your mind.

What's your favourite quote? Why and how does it affect you?

"A kiss is but an autograph into love."

It reminds me that no matter how many relationships I have in this world, that each kiss with them is special.

What makes your best friend your best friend?

The mere fact that she puts up with my insanities is a good start.  lol. She listens to me and laughs with me.  Makes all the bad days seem better.

Who is your real life hero and why?

At the moment it's a certain soldier in the Middle East. I'm very proud to call her a friend and am so proud of her and what she is trying to accomplish over there.

Why do fools fall in love?

Because we just have no control over our hearts sometimes.

When did you first know you wanted to be a writer?

I guess in this last year, I've gotten better at it and enjoy it so much.

What significance, if any, is there in the title?

It's a peek into the story's soul and very important

Can you see the book as a feature film?

Please!!!

A.HAWK....

Ah the sex scene......well past practice helps.  lol.  How about fantasies, I'm great for that, and wishful thinking.

Ask them what made them first begin to write and not exactly how they felt about it, but what keeps them going?

What keeps me writing is the fact that I like it.  It helps me to keep my sanity and write about things to keep me focussed in this world. I also like to see what this old brain of mine can come up with, sometimes it's pretty cool.
