Interview
with The RingMaster
Introduction by
Shadylady:
The RingMaster hails from Falls
Church, Virginia where we all know the government can some times be a
three ring circus. He enjoys movies,
occasionally working out, though he feels he could stand to remove his
spare tire. He enjoys reading LesFic, especially Uber, and loves
most sports. He has a daughter and granddaughter that he is wild
about.
Some of his favorite
authors are: Larisa, Strongsouljah, Wizz, ShadyLady, TJ Vertigo,
Radcliffe, Fantasy Bard, and an endless number of others. Lesbian
Fiction; especially suspense is his all-time favorite genre.
He enjoys reading about women who excel, especially police women, secret
agents, intelligent women no matter what their occupation, and these
characters are plentiful and entertaining in lesbian fiction. He also
enjoys a good love story, though he is not too wild about mush. Even
though he is a male, he feels that Lesbian fiction speaks to and
entertains him. He don’t consider himself a great writer, but
just tries to write about women he admires, using a few of his
fantasies, with the hope that someone who reads the story might get a
laugh, or enjoy it in some manner. The RingMaster loves happy endings,
and just writes, letting the characters tell their own story. He have a
deep admiration for women, no matter what their shape, age, race and
hope it comes across in his stories.
Shadylady.....
From Wizz and Shadylady:
1.) How long have
you been writing creative fiction? About 3 months
2.) What is your favorite fan fiction story you have written and why?
No answer
3.) How has Xena changed your life? She’s made me a better man by
teaching me never to argue with a woman with a sharp object and a mean
left hook
4.) What colors ur tooth brush? Blue, with little white blobs of dried
toothpaste
5.) If you could be any super hero who would you be and why?
Even though
I’m a male, I’d love to be Xena to find out what it feels like to be a
woman, and find out what a woman’s orgasm feels like.
6.) Do you wipe with your right hand or left or do you use toilet
paper? I have a wiper staff, but when I give them the night off, I use
charmin with an upward sweeping motion. (Too much information?
J)
7.) Why and when did you start writing?
I started writing as a dare
8.) What is your bra size (hehe)?
Guess it would be more appropriate to
ask my jock size, which is extra large, Bwahaha. If I were a female I
guess it would be an “A” or “B” cup since I have average manboobs.
9.) How do WRITE
more than one story or poem at a time? I normally have to finish one
little project before starting another, since I am obsessive compulsive
10.) How do you get your inspiration?
From my imagination, my life
experiences, fantasies, and the world around me
11.) What story/poem
are you most proud of? Don’t have a favorite. I tend to like the one I
just finished, then it is forgotten 24 hours later
12.) Do you get hate mail and how do you handle those?
Some. I just try
to count to ten and realize you can’t please everyone, though I am a
sensitive little fellow, and criticism hurts.
13.) What's the best piece of advice you got when you were starting out
as a writer? Just have fun, and let the characters guide you
14.) How do you lay out your stories? I just have a general idea before
I start and let the story write itself. If I have an ending or line
that I like, I will slop it down and work around it.
15.) Do you have an ending before you start writing, or does it reveal
itself to you as you write? Generally the ending reveals itself and ends
happily if possible
16.) How do you get beyond just an idea? Just sit at the keyboard and
see if it can take shape
17.) What suggestions do you have for creating self-discipline at
writing? Get a job you aren’t crazy about that you can write and look
like you are slaving away doing work
18.) Which story/series has gotten the most response from fans?
Don’t
get many responses but I guess Brother’s Eye Opening got the most
responses…both good and bad
19.) Do you like to write X&G stories or uber/original stories better?
I guess mine would be classed as neither since I’m not that familiar
with all the X&G characters and couldn’t do them justice
20.) Do you envision a story before you write it, or does the story just
un-fold as you write it? I begin with a vague idea then it unfolds as I
write it
21.) When you've finished with the story/book do you miss those
characters that you've written about? It’s fun when I’m writing, and a
super thrill when the Sandbox posts it, and nice if someone liked it, but
generally the characters are forgotten and I never revisit them
22.) If you could have dinner with anyone who would it be and why?
I
think Sigmund Freud so he could help me figure out why I love lesbian
fiction, and am enjoying writing it.
23.) Who is your favorite Xmen??? Not that familiar with them but even
though she’s a woman, I guess Rogue is a favorite because she’s not
prissy, and the name sounds cool.
24.) Who is your favorite super hero of all times?...IE...batman,
superman, wonder woman?? Not a super hero, but my favorite baddie is
catwoman. I had the hots for her as a teenager. I guess my favorite
super hero would be inspector gadget… a klutz, but always gets his man,
and rumor has it that he is a wild man in the sack.
25.) Years from now, how would you want to be remembered?
As a good
father, and generally nice decent guy
26.) What is your pet peeve? Insane drivers who have no courtesy for
others
27.) What are your dreams? Hopes? Wishes?
To be captured and turned
into a love slave by a tribe of sex-starved Amazons. Would also be nice
to be rich in retirement. Also wish for all the happiness in the world
for my daughter and her children
28.) What is a necessity for every writer in your opinion?
The writing
gift from God. I think some people are just incredibly blessed with how
they can paint pictures with words
29.) What's your favorite quote? Why and how does it affect you?
When
you fall down 6 times, stand up seven….something like that. My aged
memory fails me
30.) What makes your best friend your best friend?
There when you need
him. Loves to talk and I prefer to listen
31.) Who is your real life hero and why? I think my mother since she has
always held my admiration and had a remarkable well lived life,
sacrificing a great deal.
32.) Why do fools fall in love? Because it feels so wonderful until you
wake up and real world realities sneak in. Love is basically a fairy
tale ingredient.
33.) When did you first know you wanted to be a writer?
I don’t really
consider myself a writer. I just consider the Sandbox a great place to
be a little creative and have fun with dreams and fantasies. It’s a
great little hobby and I am very grateful to the sandbox owners
34.) What significance, if any, is there in the title?
I like titles and
pay a great deal of attention to them, though I agree that I may have
missed some great stories if the title didn’t appeal to me and I passed
it up
35.) Can you see the book as a feature film?
Har Har.
BT (strongsouljah)......
36.) What vices or
rituals, if any, do you have and how do they affect your writing?
I
masturbate to bring out the Zen and Budha in me. Just kidding. I
mainly write at work, so I am ritualess.
37.) Have you ever had a serious case of writer's block?
Yes
38.) How do you get over it? Just keep playing with ideas, generally
when I am taking a smoke break
39.) What’s your bra size???
If I were female, it would be 34B
Tammy....I'm
assuming I have the right idea (I think) maybe????
40.) What writer do
you most compare yourself too or whom do you model yourself after?
No one. I am a one of a kind male lesbian who just happens to be ga ga
over super women
41.) What writer influenced you the most?
There are soooooooooo many
that I have discovered in the Lesbian genre, but I love the suspense in
most of Larisa’s writings, and love Radclyffe’s writing.
42.) What is essential to you in your surroundings when you are writing?
i.e.: music playing, incense, candles lit, food/drink, smoke pot???
That my boss isn’t hovering catching me not working. It would be wild
to smoke pot and try to write, but can’t do that at work, and haven’t
smoked it in years. I do smoke cigs at home, but don’t often write
there.
43.) Is your aim when writing to keep it strictly as literature or do
you have goals for screenplays/motion pictures?
Har Har again. I just
live for the thrill of the Sandbox posting the story, and feeling like
I’ve produced something.
44.) What is the best laid plan when writers block hits?
Just play with
situations in your mind until something clicks
45.) If you could interview/talk to any author (dead or alive) who would
it be and why? I think Nora Roberts. I would love to know how she just
cranks out best seller after bestseller
46.) What are your other artistic interests?
I am an artist at making
love….at least in my dreams.
J
47.) Are you easily distracted when writing?
Nah
48.) Do you prefer to be alone when writing.
Nah
49.) Do you have a set time that you write (a.m. or p.m.) or when time
permits? Just when time permits
Tina
Stratton.....
50.) Do ideas
just pop up or do you hear something or see something and think.... hey
that would work? I generally have something pop into my head, then it
grows like a weed
ANNE....
51.) "What would
you never ever ever write about?" Kid sex, generally abuse. I also
have a very weak stomach, so I try to keep pain out of my stories.
52.) "If you had the to bring Xena back from the dead AGAIN, how would
you do it?" Mouth to mouth resuscitation
53.) "What's the most original way in which you ever killed a red
shirt?" With Clorox
54.) "If you could any kind of vegetable, what would you be?"
A
cucumber, because women love them, and they are quite tasty
Tap The Wizzard....
55.) "Would you like to have dinner with me?"
Sure Tap
A. Hawk.....
56.) One question
would be where do they get the inspiration (for your stories) for all of
that when writing a sex scene? I have no idea what a woman feels during
sex, so I just try to use my imagination, and also put in their some
things that have felt good to me.
57.) Ask them what made them first begin to write and not exactly how
they felt about it, but what keeps them going?
I just was coaxed to do
a story and what keeps me going is a boredom relief at work, and the
thrill of seeing it posted on the Sandbox….too cool!
JLNICKY....USE THESE AT YOUR DISCRETION........
58.) Do you wear
silk stockings? No but it might be kinda nice and kinky
59.) Do you prefer cucumbers to finger cookies?
I alternate in my
preferences

becoming I might add) I’m twisted, but am not in any relationship
61.) Do you prefer standard nipple clamps to those new ones that
vibrate? Never tried them but I will have to add them to my list to buy
of silk stockings
62.) Were you the Bartender or the Dancer? (A Shadylady story...)
I
alternated…very versitile
63.) Do you own a Jag or a Honda? Neither but would love both…the Jag
for when I’m feeling filthy rich, and the Honda (SUV) for weekend fun
64.) In your opinion is Popeye equivalent to Hercules? Does the
myth/legend over lap...is that where Hercules came from....the Popeye
Sailor? Herc is a stud I would like to pattern myself after. Popeye is
a guy you would like to have as a buddy to pal around with
65.) Is Hercules better than Sampson? You know...Delilah's Sampson?
I
don’t recall Herc with a babe, so I guess Sampson was more of a lady’s
man
66.) What is your bra size? I go braless
67.) What’s your favorite color? Blue
68.) Ever used any of those lil ole accents in ya'lls lil ole stories?
Nah

is more than 31 you know). I love all ice cream, but I guess one of my
top favorites is Cookies n Cream
70.) Have you ever gotten the shits from eating too much cheesecake?
Nope, but every time I eat McDonald’s Big n Tasty burger it sends me
running to the toitie. What do they put in that thing?!!!
71.) Have you ever had Wild Turkey AND Bourbon in the same night? If so,
who held your head over the porcelain goddess?
Not a big drinker. Get
sick before I get too plastered. I’d like Xena to hold my head over the
porcelain goddess.
72.) Do you ever think, by the far stretch of the imagination, there
possibly, somewhere out there, could probably, maybe be people out in
the world just as twisted as you?
I guess the equivalently twisted
human would be a woman who loves and writes gay male fiction and loves
to have panty sniffing scenes in them.
J
73.) Boxers or briefs? Briefs. Never tried boxers so I will add them to
the list of nipple clamps and silk stockings
74.) How do you (the writer) deal with the feedback you receive?
I try
to respond to everything even if someone just writes 3-4 words, which is
often the case. It’s most helpful if the feedback says what they liked
or didn’t like
75.) Is the genre that you write most in, such as mystery, romance
Etc... It’s the Gerry genre. I guess I try to write mostly suspense
with a little love and romance
76.) The genre that you read most in? Suspense
77.) Have you ever written outside your comfort zone?
Nah
78.) Were you happy with the result? N/A
DJ Belt....
79.) How much of
the bard's own personal life experiences and worldview enter their
characters and story? Quite a bit, though I have to twist it into a
female perspective.
80.) When they write, are they moved by what they create, or do they
view it dispassionately? I get involved in the story as I write it and
feel for the characters
